To empower, educate and develop
the Muslim Woman without regard to language, ethnicity, national
origin, race, culture or tradition.
To present spiritual, educational
and health related issues that bring clarification and more importantly
logical thought processes to the already established controversy
and misconceptions of Islam, the role of Muslim Women in Islam and
the role of Muslim Women in society at large.
To empower Muslim Women with a
sound understanding and an appreciation of Islam, consequently,
promoting self confidence and a positive spirit when it comes to
complying with the commandments of Allah.
To create an awareness and understanding
of Islam by women in the broader community by initiating meaningful,
quality seminars, workshops and other activities open to all women.
To encourage Muslim Women to read,
translate and comprehend their Qur'an by teaching them the Arabic
language.
To establish Islamic study sessions.
To promote discussions to clarify
relevant controversial issues that are grounded in the Holy Qur'an.
To eradicate illiteracy via English
as a Second Language; GED/Citizenship; self-help/skills-need classes
and others.
To develop a strong Sisterhood
with Muslim Women globally, based on taqwa (God Consciousness) and
with a foundation of the Holy Qur'an.
To introduce
health initiatives that will focus on the complete life cycle of
women-including breast health, healthcare referrals, free/low-cost
clinic visits and follow-ups.
